Mission Statement
The Las Cruces Home Builders Association supports its members and the building industry throughout the Mesilla Valley. Our mission is to provide educational opportunities, advocate for regulations that benefit a strong housing market, and ensure members are provided the resources necessary to continue improving the quality of life in our community.
A word from our 2020 President, Anna Rivera
Dear Members and friends,
I am so excited about 2020! We have started something great and I plan on building off of this foundation. This year is full of new opportunities for the Las Cruces Home Builders Association!
This year our focus will be on continuing what we started with the first ever Build My Future event. Because of the success of this event we will be holding a Job Fair to help bridge the gap of the trade shortage our community is currently facing and helping students enter into the skilled trades industry. We are working closely with the Las Cruces Public Schools and Dona Ana Community College to bring back skilled trade classes in the high schools. We hope to have a strong voice in our community by being actively involved with government entities and the policies they set forth for the building industry. We are holding training events every month for our members that will help them in their businesses.
With all that we are doing for our members this year, we hope to add new members to the association. I am also asking for YOUR involvement! If we want to accomplish all that we have set out to accomplish we cannot do it alone. We need everyone’s involvement this year.
